Pigwich is a hidden gem in Kansas City, Missouri that offers killer sandwiches. The location is in the East Bottoms tucked in behind the Local Pig, a butcher shop that has a large variety of fresh cut meats. The sandwich shop is located out back in a stationary food truck with plenty of outside seating. The setting provides a backyard barbecue vibe as you share large picnic style tables with the other guests.
Walk up to the window and order your food and grab a seat until they call your name. They offer a set menu and have daily specials as well. Everything that we have ordered has been really good. The double cheeseburger with provolone is our go to and is garnished with grilled onions, tomato jam and some kind of aioli. This sandwich is awesome and a popular choice of many visitors.
